Oakville, ON - The Glace Bay Tim Hortons Antoinans defeated Edmonton's Community Park Reds 4-1 to advance to the semi-final of the 2008 Canadian Senior Little League Championship tomorrow.  The Antonians were led at the plate by Mitchell Campbell who hit a pair of solo homeruns. 

Community Park couldn't solve the the Glace Bay pitching tandem of RJ Barrett and Mitch Campbell who only gave up 4 hits while striking out nine. Barrett got the win and Campbell got the save.  Community Park's starting pitcher Dustin Crawley took the loss.

Community Park's Taylor Doucet was ejected from the game in the top of the sixth inning for a hard slide into second base.

Glace Bay's opponent in the semi-final will be the loser of the page playoff game taking place at 6:30 PM EST featuring the Whalley Chiefs from Surrey, BC and the NDG Senior Lynx from Montreal.
